Yes. Every Echo Trader account starts on the free tier — no credit card, no trial countdown. You get journaling, core metrics, order syncing, one broker connection, and P&L certificates for as long as you want.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. Free doesn't include real-time copy trading, the advanced metrics, or more than one connection — those are what the paid plans add. Everything you get on Free is fully functional, not a locked demo.

How does syncing work without copy trading?
When you connect a broker on Free, Echo Trader briefly authorizes to refresh your access token, pulls your orders, and disconnects — it never keeps a live session open. If the token expires, a sync just prompts you to reconnect. Paid plans keep the connection alive all week.
Can I upgrade later without losing my data?
Yes. Upgrading to Basic or Premium unlocks copy trading and the advanced tools on the same account — your journal and metrics carry right over.
